Vice Chair

Jay specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single tenant leased investment properties nationwide on behalf of institutional and private capital clients and has completed over $2.5 billion in transactions throughout the country. With intimate knowledge of the national single tenant investment market for medical, retail, office and industrial properties, Jay offers an unparalleled expertise in pricing, market penetration, targeting active buyers and transacting efficient dispositions.

Prior to joining Colliers, Jay was an Executive Director with Cushman & Wakefield where he was recognized as a top 100 producer company-wide across all service lines and was the company’s top net lease broker in 2018. Since joining Colliers, Jay’s impact has been equally impressive. As the top producer in the San Diego office, he has maintained a consistent record of excellence. His exceptional performance extends nationally, as he consistently ranks among Colliers’ elite top producers at a nationwide level.


Thomas, who goes by T, specializes in investment sales and advisory of net-leased properties and multi-tenant shopping centers throughout the US. He maintains a high level of control and service throughout the transaction process, from the initial underwriting and creation of the pricing strategy to closing the deal. Prior to joining Colliers, T was a member of the National Retail Group and Director of Net-Leased Properties at Marcus & Millichap. The Ladt | Patel team has collectively sold over $2.5 billion in transaction volume in over 42 states. 

He is originally from Kentucky, spent a number of years in Connecticut and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. While at USD, he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team and a two-year captain. 


Nico specializes in investment sales & advisory for all asset types of net-leased properties. Working alongside Jay Patel & Thomas Ladt, they are industry leaders in the sale of retail & healthcare investment properties nationally and the top net-lease team at Colliers. Nico leverages his intimate and frontline knowledge of the national investment sales market and his relationships with active net-lease investors to advise and maximize value for his clients. His unique background enables him to creatively solve complex problems and provide superior service & industry knowledge in the process.

Prior to joining Colliers, Nico sold, promoted & directly supported the implantation of Cardiac Rhythm Management devices for Boston Scientific. Before that, Nico served as a Corpsman in the US Navy, where he attached to and deployed with a Marine Corps Scout Sniper Platoon and Force Reconnaissance Platoon.


Lindsey offers direct support to Jay patel and Nico Lautmann. She oversees her team’s marketing portfolio and consistently applies an innovative approach to project management. Throughout her experience in commercial real estate, she has collaborated extensively with industry experts in net lease investments, retail development projects, and multifamily asset sales, cultivating a business-oriented and forward-thinking mindset. Lindsey’s deep understanding of her team’s goals & objectives, combined with her creative strategies for design & branding, and her dedication to personal growth build a unified and dependable pathway to success.


Megan serves as the direct support specialist to her team, she is committed to delivering results and driving business forward. She manages the team’s marketing design and execution, creating successful campaigns that generate substantial leads. She plays a key role throughout the transaction process by fostering effective communication and demonstrating problem-solving skills. She actively contributes to generating new business leads by facilitating the team database and conducting research and outreach to interested parties. Megan strives to always deliver top-notch results for her team and the client. 


Aaron West serves as the Managing Director of brokerage for Colliers’ Las Vegas and San Diego offices, overseeing all brokerage operations and service lines with a critical focus on strengthening business development, improving service delivery, and recruiting world-class talent. With nearly 15 years of industry experience, including business development and lead generation, Aaron brings a proven track record of positive results and a deep understanding of the brokerage business to his dual-market leadership role. Providing best-in-class service and results to Colliers’ clients, including owners, occupiers, investors, and developers, he is dedicated to the constant pursuit of improvement, creating unsurpassed intellectual capital within the market.

Before joining Colliers in 2021 as Managing Director of Las Vegas, Aaron served as a Vice President for CBRE. He led one of the firm’s top-producing multi-market brokerage teams, representing national and international corporate clients.


Anna graduated  California State University San Marcos, majoring in Human Development with an emphasis in Psychology. She started working for Colliers in December 2014 as the Office Manager.. Anna is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, managing current processes and procedures, and ensuring that the region is running efficiently. Prior to Colliers, she worked over 7 years as Senior  Operations Manager,  throughout California like Charlotte Russe, Tri City Medical Center & Kraft.
